We’re excited to let you know that our school lunches are award winning! Our caterer, Bury Catering, has achieved the Gold Food for Life Served Here certification by the Soil Association for serving healthy and sustainable meals across 56 sites. It recognises and celebrates their commitment to using local and sustainable ingredients, champion good practice and cook from scratch.
Our meals are freshly prepared by a trained chef. All ingredients are free from additives, artificial trans fats and GM ingredients. The meat served can be traced back to the farm and meets or exceeds UK animal welfare standards, eggs are free range, fish is sustainable, and menus make the most of seasonal ingredients. All of which reduces the environmental impact of menus.
School meals are freshly cooked at Chantlers and are priced at £2.70.
Children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 are entitled to a universal free school meal every day.
Parents can pre-order their child's school meal(s) at home via the internet on the 'SchoolGrid' and are paid for via 'ParentPay'.
