Year 6 have been busy generating our vocabulary display- children have added unfamiliar words and their definition to the working wall so children can up-level their use of vocabulary by selecting a piece from the display during writing opportunities and using it in their own piece.
We have also been studying Georgia O'Keeffe and her art work. she painted enlarged versions of a single flower, like what you would see if you were to look through a magnifying glass. The children's study of her work has resulted in some stunning pieces!
