In this topic the children will be learning:
About the key features that make an ‘Olympic Games’ including: sporting events, an opening ceremony, different teams from different nations, an Olympic torch, a logo and mascots etc. We will look at the history of the Olympics games, including which cities and countries around the world have hosted the Olympic games. We will also compare the differences between The Ancient and The Modern Olympic games.
